IDs please
Not much in the trap at all but I did find the first moth pictured lurking in the grass. Maybe a Dark Sword Grass?

I'd go for Shuttle-shape Dart Mark, but my IDs are by no means flawless... Sorry I'm not up to helping with the second one. I wonder if being up on a hill makes a difference in terms of moth trapping. Or the son et lumbered of opera...
ReplyDeleteThe top one is definitely Shuttle-shaped Dart. The lower one from last Autumn is a bit faded but I don't see what it could be other than White-point - a nice catch!
ReplyDeleteSorry Mark I wrote 'son-et-lumiere' but my computer doesn't speak French and changed it 'lumbered'. Mind you that might be appropriate for some opera. The fat lady sings etc
