Ephestia woodiella ?

Are these both examples of Ephestia woodiella previously known as E. unicolorella?

Both found in  my living room in N. London after leaving the light on.

Thanks.

  1. Not sure about your naming, unless you know something I don't. It is very likely the moth is Ephestia unicolorella (formerly parasitella), but there are others of the genus that look similar, so to be absolutely sure, this one needs a microscope

  2. Thanks Peter,
I wouldn't know what to look for under the microscope.
I took the naming from the UKMOTHS website which states that unicolorella is only found in Turkey.
