A Puzzle From Newport Pagnell
This turned up on 31st August at a 40W Skinner trap at Linford Lakes Nature Reserve and the three of us present eventually opted for Common Rustic Agg. but not with great certainty. Apologies for the poor photograph, the moth was not happy in a pot nor keen to be photographed.

Hello Gordon, I can't really see what the moth is from that photo but Common Rustic agg. is certainly a possibility. I had late hangers-on in the garden here on 28th and 31st August.
