Vestal

Down to 4.5C here last night, the coldest so far this autumn, so only 18 moths one of which was a Vestal, the first I have seen here this year:

    Probably a similar temperature here at Westcott although it felt almost like a frost at 6am! 28 hardy moths of 13 species, of which Dark Sword-grass was the only migrant.
