Beaded Chestnut and Brown-spot Pinion are correct. However, the Pearly Underwing is a male Turnip (check the antennae for starters, Pearly Underwing doesn't have strongly bipectinate antennae like your example). The Mottled Beauty is a second-generation Willow Beauty (check the cross-lines on the forewings which are still reasonably clear if a bit faded in places, and so far as I'm aware Mottled Beauty is still single-brooded finishing in August).
That's interesting, Adam - I haven't seen last year's data yet. I've just checked back through what I do have and there's one other listed for 29 Nov 1972 (by the late George Higgs in Willen, MK) but with no indication of stage so that could perhaps have been a larval sighting. Certainly since the Millennium (3,000 or so records) the last adult sightings in Bucks have always been in August apart from 2015 when there's one claimed for 11 Sep which is a full month beyond the previous one. None later than that. A November record would have to be a second brood, I suppose, but probably not the best time of year to have one!

Hi Dave, I had a Mottled Beauty on 5th Nov last year. Very unusual, but presumably a 2nd generation example.
