An early Knot Grass
Despite the temperature dropping to -2 last night, I did get 7 macro moths in the garden trap. These included the first Shuttle-shaped Dart of the year, and also the moth photographed below, which I believe is a Knot Grass.
Is this quite early for a Knot Grass?
In addition, there was a fairly faded pug on the outside of the trap. I know everyone loves trying to identify pugs, so I include a photo in case anyone fancies a stab at it!
Hi Steve,
ReplyDeletePug looks very much like Brindled Pug to me. BW, Marc
