Bradenham

A three-hour session on National Trust land near Bradenham, Bucks last night produced 43 macro and 14 micro species, so quite a pleasing total considering how poor things have been up to now (I could have done without the 120 cockchafers, though!).  There was nothing unusual amongst the moths but species new for me this year included Nematopogon swammerdamella, Monopis weaverella, Aproaerema anthyllidella, Cochylis dubitana, Cochylis atricapitana, Scoparia ambigualis, Common Swift, Pebble Hook-tip, Clay Triple-lines, Purple Bar, Small Waved Umber, Lime-speck Pug, Peppered Moth, White-pinion Spotted, Eyed Hawk-moth, Puss Moth, Marbled Brown, Lobster Moth, White Ermine, Least Black Arches & Light Brocade.
