One of my favourites was among four newcomers for the year in the trap here in Thrupp last night: the Beautiful Hook-tip, above. The others were Mottled Beauty, Poplar Grey and the curiously misnamed Single-dotted Wave. Multi-dotted, I would say. Also the pug below, which is trying its hardest to help but still eludes me. Difficult to know without the size, Martin, but it could well be Common Pug.
