Spotless Four-spotted

I joined Martin Harvey on Brush Hill above Princes Risborough, Bucks last night for a 'creatures of the night' event organised by the Chiltern Society.  Few chalk grassland specialists came to the three lights but it was nice to see Square-spotted Clay and Rosy Minor amongst the hordes of yellow underwings (all five common species were well represented but Large, Lesser and Lesser Broad-bordered were particularly numerous).  However, the best moth of the night appeared while we were packing up and came in the shape of a smart male Four-spotted Footman, only the fifth record of this migrant species for Bucks.
