Common Quaker?
Having put my trap out last night for the first time this year I caught a Pale Brindled Beauty and this individual which I assume is a very early Common Quaker?
Hi Andy, Common Quakers (and Hebrew Characters) do sometimes emerge in ones and twos in warmer periods prior to their normal flight period. I had a Common Quaker on 28th December in Bernwood Forest and that wasn't by any means the earliest I've heard of this winter.
Yes, that's a Common Quaker, Andy.
