Buttoned Snout
This ratter battered moth turned up in our conservatory last night in Beenham Berks. I think that it's a Buttoned Snout (which I've had once before and similarly indoors) but would be grateful for confirmation.
Thanks Dave, I had another a few years ago which turned up about the same time of year, in the bathroom that time, but never had one to light. Not sure why they're around here - I'm not aware of any hops being grown around here.
Looks very much like it to me, Derek, although I'm hardly an expert on the species because the last time I saw one was ten years ago!
