Clifden Nonpareil in Marlow

There was a clifden nonpareil on my bedroom curtains yesterday morning (6 Sept 18). It had presumably been attracted by the light of my moth trap, which had been running overnight on the lawn outside. In fact, as I have run my trap over the summer, I have often found interesting moths on our curtains - but this was the best so far! Impressive size and power. When I let it go, it flew off at speed up and over the trees.
