Kitchen Moth
The wind and rain are absolutely keeping things away from my trap at the moment, but I did get my first Orthosia of the year this evening, with a Small Quaker in my kitchen.
Nothing at all here at Westcott last night! However, I did get 11 moths the previous night during Storm Jorge which was a mix of Chestnut, Clouded Drab, Common Quaker & Hebrew Character. They're all I've been getting of late (still no Small Quaker here) and the last "new" species for the year was Agonopterix ocellana back on the 24th. Still, February ended here with 28 species on the garden list (one fewer than in 2019) which isn't too bad considering there has been so much wind and rain.
