Clifden Nonpareil larva

I received this from Flora Hunter this morning, who has kindly agreed to allow me to post it on the blog. It was taken in her parent's garden in Somerton, VC23. The fence is situated under an Aspen which is in a stand of same. The larva of this species is rarely seen. Unfortunately the blog has rotated the image by 90 degrees.

  1. Very nice! I've rotated the image so that it is now the right way up - not sure why that should have happened for you.
