Downland Moths
A walk around Juniper Valley, Aston Tirrold produced the above two moths (and also Pyrausta nigrata which didn't stay still to photograph). The top is I think Rhopobota stagnana and below Argyresthia arceuthina.
Hi Nic, While Rhopobota stagnana is a likely inhabitant of the site you visited, I'm afraid that image is of a Cnephasia species which would need dissection to confirm. Nice that you've joined the Argyresthia arceuthina club!
