This turned up a few days ago and went into the 'not sure' folder. Is it Reddish Light Arches? If so, it's new to our survey on Cholesbury and Hawridge Commons.

ReplyDeleteYes, that is Reddish Light Arches. It is widespread in the Chilterns, particularly on large open chalk grassland sites such as at Ivinghoe, and does sometimes wander onto the clay (it occasionally appears in my garden out here in the Vale of Aylesbury).
