Micro from November 2020
Hi there,
Going through some old photos. Is this an Acleris? And if so, is it ferrugana/notana, which I know cannot be separated visually? Thanks and best wishes, David
Hello David. I think this is Epiphyas postvittana. It is rather variable, but most have a dark line in the cilia, with a very pale line just before it.
Hi David,
ReplyDeleteIt looks to me like that old favourite, Epiphyas postvittana.

ReplyDeleteFor some reason, Dave's comment only showed on my phone when I posted mine!
DeleteMany thanks, both of you. I live and learn - slowly!!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes
