Possible Pammene suspectana
Despite the strong breeze this one came to the FUN lure this afternoon. I think it is likely to be Pammene suspectana although I know it will need dissecting for confirmation.
Hi Andy, I would probably have said albuginana but the various lures now being used seem to be proving that the similar confusion species like ignorata and suspectana aren't quite as rare as people thought! Definitely well worth getting this one properly checked.
Actually I would rather it was one of the others having had quite a few suspectana last year - all identified by Peter. The lures certainly seem to be showing a few species are much commoner than once thought.
