Scoparia pyralella?

I'd really like to get a grip on the Crambids

First Large Yellow Underwings this morning.

  1. I'm not too sure what your scoparid might be, Mark, as it seems rather worn (which I suppose in itself might suggest ambigualis which has been out for a little while now). S.pyralella is usually one of the easier ones to ID because it is more "contrasty" (obviously white and brown) than the others.
