Westcott, Bucks

New species for the garden list continued to trickle in up to and including the last warm-ish weekend but since then there's been almost nothing to trouble the scorers which is rather unusual for what should be the peak time of year.  The count currently stands at 373 species but that is now about 60 behind last year's total for the 2nd July.

I'm certainly still getting plenty of moths (150+ each of Heart & Dart and Dark Arches each night, with Hoplodrina numbers increasing to join them) but otherwise little variety and micros have unfortunately been few and far between.  I'm sure things will pick up eventually!
