Ched George had an early Light Feathered Rustic in his Radnage, Bucks trap on 1st May. Then overnight on 7th May he had four more, which is quite a remarkable garden record!
Despite being classed as Nationally Scarce, the moth is found across the Chilterns on good chalk grassland sites. Ched's garden visitors are likely to have wandered in from nearby Yoesden Bank.
