Nice one, a smart-looking moth. After a run of annual appearances between 2013 and 2023 I didn't get one in the garden last year, so I'm looking forward to it coming back again in 2025. It would be even nicer if Black-spotted Chestnut would spread from its toe-hold in the far south-eastern corner of Bucks, but its expansion looks to have stalled.
