Little brown micro

I was having difficulty with this nondescript little moth with upwardly curving palps. The closest I could get is Acompsia cinerella, but that flies a bit later in the year?

Other than that, still appalling mothing here in Stoke Goldington. The highest catch so far in May has been 8 individuals of 6 species over two traps!

  1. Hi Keith,
I suspect that is the very common Scrobipalpa acuminatella, which unfortunately can often have few/no markings like this one.
