Blogger problems?

I would be interested to know how many people are still having difficulty using Blogger.  One or two of you have mentioned to me problems which range between being unable to comment through to being unable to access the website at all.  If you are not able to add a comment below, I'd appreciate an email to the administration address [burnhamlodge (at) gmail.com] explaining what problem(s) you currently have and what version of Windows you are using.  I should say that I've never had trouble myself but I don't use Windows 11.  I can access the site on computers here using both Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 as well as via Safari on my iPhone and, so long as I'm signed in correctly to Google with the address which Blogger recognizes, there's been no difficulty adding comments using any of them.  It is important to stress that Blogger will only recognize you if you are still using the email address provided when you originally signed up to the blog.  If it has changed since then, you'll need to ask me for another invitation to join.

  1. Hi Dave, I'm on Windows 11 and usually use the Edge browser. I think I've had the occasional difficulty posting in the past, but not recently.

  2. I have 2 problems. I'm on Windows 11 firefox. 1. for several months my Bitdefender blocks the page with the message "We blocked this phishing page for your protection:
    https://upperthamesmoths.blogspot.com/
Phishing pages attempt to obtain sensitive information such as login credentials or credit card details by disguising as trustworthy entities. The stolen data can be then used for financial " I visit other blogger sites with no issue. I don't think there is actually anything you can put on a blogger site that could be used for phishing. As said, it's only this blogger site where it happens. 2. Sometimes I can't post comments when logged in, again this is firefox but I think I'd tried other browsers.

    1. You can stop Bitdefender blocking the page. Open Bitdefender, then click on Protection/Online Threat Prevention/Settings/Manage Exceptions and add upperthamesmoths.blogspot.com

  3. I have the same problem as Mark with Firefox on Windows 10. I use a different browser to get in. At one time I had a problem with using iPad but seems to be ok now.
