A Blog for moth recorders in Bucks, Berks and Oxon
This was trapped on Otmoor this morning. Wondering if it might be a form of Acleris hastiana?? Thanks, Linda.
Hello Linda,I'm afraid there's not much to go on there! You are probably correct because the general shape looks good, it isn't cristana and the other over-wintering Acleris species would show a hint of markings along the costa.
Thanks Dave, it's a pretty plain version, or worn. The shape was what took us to hastiana.
