Hello Linda, yes that is Ypsolopha mucronella. I think I'm correct in saying that only two of that family hibernate (mucronella and ustella) and one is twice the size of the other so theoretically they shouldn't ever get confused! Mucronella can be found anywhere where there's spindle and that's a reasonably widespread hedgerow plant in our area.
