Encountered last night in Stoke Goldington, Bucks I am assuming (at least for the time being) that this nicely marked micro is one of the variants of Tortricodes alternella?
Hi Keith, It is indeed alternella. This is a much more variable species than the single image in the micro field guide might infer (the text does explain this) and it does often sit like your example with the wings held quite tightly against the body.
