Sprawler


I'm pretty certain that this is a Sprawler but do the antennae tell us it's a male? Came to trap at home in Tackley.

    Hello Alan,
    Yes, this is a Sprawler and the antennae indicate that it is a male. The moth is having quite a good season by all accounts (it is past its peak but could go on for a couple more weeks yet).

      Certainly is having a good season up north. I had 16 to my actinic front door light on the 9th (Stoke Goldington)!
