For Barred Sallow this form does appear quite regularly and I've seen quite a few of them this year. Rather more rare in the UK is the red form of Centre-barred Sallow which I've only seen the once, back in 2010, and it looked so 'different' that I ended up writing a note about it for Ent Rec (Jan/Feb 2011 issue).
