Agonopterix species

Despite the bright super moon the milder temperatures resulted in a better catch (17 moths, 8 species) last night including this one.




Is it possible to identify which species from the photo?

    More than likely to be Agonopterix heracliana, Andy, but impossible to be sure because some of the markings are unfortunately obscured by whatever is hitch-hiking on its wings!
