Nice new-for-the-year moths keep coming here; last night a Swallow Prominent and a Herald joined the crowd of Hebrew Characters, Nut-tree Tussocks and Brindled Beauties. Also the latte-coloured arrival above which I ought to recognise but can't; and these three pugs below. I'm confident about V-pug for the green one and guess Oak-tree for the second (because there was an oak directly above the trap; or it could be Freyer's?); and finally, Common P? Help greatly appreciated.
Martin Wainwright, Thrupp, Oxon
Powdered Quaker, V-pug, the third I would ideally like a size please (probably Brindled but may be Oak-tree) and the final one is a tatty Double-striped Pug.
ReplyDeleteThe third looks like Oak-tree Pug to me, Martin. By the way, your Chinese Character found its way here from Bicester Village last night, thanks!
