A Blog for moth recorders in Bucks, Berks and Oxon
Hi there,
Found this dead in my trap two nights ago. Not in great nick, but can anyone help with it?
Thanks, David
Hi David, the second image shows more of the wing pattern suggesting a Rusty Dot Pearl (Udea ferrugalis), a migrant that I also tend to see in the late autumn/early winter.
Many thanks, John - I can see now that that's the one! I'm only just starting to get into micros and not finding them easy! Very best wishes, David
