Dead and difficult!

This just died in my conservatory - wasn't there two days ago. Worn and damaged, but is there enough left to ID it? When in the sun - second photo - it shone bright gold! Forewing length approx 10mm.

Many thanks.

David

  1. Hi David,
Not a definite answer, but I'd hazard a guess at another Tortricodes alternella. There isn't much else that it could be at this time of year. As it happens I found one indoors myself a couple of days ago.

  2. That was my thought too - but appreciate it's not easy to be sure.
    Thanks,
    David
