Hello Andy, That's a rather worn specimen and (as I always seem to say!) could do with being checked by Peter if you still have it. I would be leaning towards vittella and I'm fairly sure there's a lot of confusion between sequella and vittella to the detriment of records for the latter species.
Many thanks. I have retained the moth as I thought that might be the answer. Peter has a batch of my moths at present so it will need to go in the final batch of the year. I wasn't really aware of vittella until I looked in the Berkshire micros book yesterday.
