I agree. They are distantly related to moths (Trichoptera = hairy-winged as opposed to Lepidoptera = scale-winged) and it can sometimes be a bit difficult to differentiate them when they're this small. If you've got the micro-moth field guide (Sterling et al), have a look at pages 28 and 29 of the introduction.
