Looks like Buff Ermine to me, Mark. A lovely warm day today so it is not surprising a few butterflies were out and about too. I think I witnessed a bit of reverse migration at about 2pm while out dog-walking, with three Red Admirals following exactly the same path across a field over a ten-minute period, all of them heading purposefully southwards.
