While some of you further north and west were enjoying some lovely sunshine yesterday, here in the Thames Valley it was very grey and misty. It subsequently became even foggier towards evening, so as an experiment I put my MV trap out in the garden to see if any moths would find it.
The result - a completely empty trap this morning. So perhaps it is not only the planes at Heathrow that are grounded in foggy conditions.
