Square-spotted Clay?


I caught this 2 nights ago in Chorleywood. I've not seen Square-spotted Clay in Bucks before, but that's what I think it is. Nevertheless, I would be happier if someone else felt they could give it the nod, it's not particularly well marked.

    Hi Andy, I agree with Adam. It is also a bit early yet for Square-spotted Clay, especially one as worn as your moth seems to be. All my sightings of it have been during August.
