This individual was in our trap in Wolvercote, Oxon, yesterday morning: I think it has some characteristics in common with the Confused - the second photo shows what
might be the 'tuft of longer scales' mentioned in the Moth Bible - but it seems to be a rare record in the area, and we're very much open to other suggestions. Steve and Xander Goddard.

Hi - take a look at Cabbage - it looks like this species to me.
