I had a garden first in my trap this morning in Aylesbury - a Waved black; another nice catch was my second garden Double lobed. Also a big explosion of Riband waves, but only one Willow beauty! Also had my first Ruby tiger moth of the year, and my fourth Small ranunculus. Dave Maunder

Willow Beauties seem to be in very short supply this year.
ReplyDeleteIt was another poor showing in my garden to the west of you at Westcott last night, Dave, although I did get one or two things new for the year: Ypsolopha dentella, Agriphila tristella, Trachycera advenella, Slender Pug (to be confirmed) & Least Yellow Underwing.
