Hi Alan, I think Acleris literana may well be correct but there's only a vague hint of green on your specimen so another view might help - if you've got one can you add it into this report? As Martin mentioned previously, Ypsolopha mucronella (note spelling) isn't the only Ypsolopha around at this time of year but I'm happy that's what your pictures show.
The second image is a better view, Alan, and I'm sure it is Acleris literana although your specimen is quite worn. They're normally a very vibrant green.
