Hi Keith, Yes it is, and right at the end of its flight season too - a nice record! A Google image search will give a good idea of how variable the moth can be compared to the single image shown in the field guide. I've seen a few reports of it from odd places this year so it may have undergone some dispersal, although there are a handful of previous reports from the far north of Bucks so it could perhaps be resident in woodland such as Salcey Forest or Yardley Chase.
