And one more. I was not sure, as unfamiliar with either, whether this was a poplar kitten or a sallow - from forewing measurement of 19 mm and pattern I think a poplar though on 7 May a little early? Oxford garden.

ReplyDeleteI'd lean towards Poplar Kitten with that one too, even though the markings aren't as straightforward as usual.
Thank you. I had another on 17th that was similar but seemed more clearly poplar - the first of either that I have seen.
