A Blog for moth recorders in Bucks, Berks and Oxon
Micros have been a bit few and far between so far this year but these 3 would all be new site records.
Semioscopis steinkellneriana 14th May
Pammene rhediella 14th May
Platyptilia gonodactyla 21st May
Andy Newbold, Sibford Ferris, Oxon.
Hi Andy,Nice records! Pammene rhediella is a regular here, living on our hawthorn, but I've never yet had one in the garden trap. All the sightings have been as day-flyers.
Thanks. The two on the 14th were both in the same section of the egg tray and not easy to pot.
