Two new for my garden trap this year

The first, I am fairly sure is a Nut Tree Tussock but the second is defeating me. may be the way it is holding itself but after scanning through the book 3 times I will leave it to the experts.

  1. Hi Tom, the first is indeed Nut-tree Tussock (quite a variable moth) while the second is a dark-looking Dotted Border. The latter has had a really good season and is mostly over now but they do sometimes keep appearing up to the end of April.
