I think the first one is Semioscopis steinkellneriana which is a new one for me. The pug, not sure - hopefully it's in decent enough shape for an ID although I know that's difficult to do from just photos.
Hi Mark, yes to Semioscopis steinkellneriana. I'm not going to commit to a definite ID for your Pug but of the two choices I'd lean more towards Oak-tree than Brindled. Peter will no doubt be pleased to "do the business" should you wish to keep it!
