BLBE
Another Tawny Pinion last night, this time at Thrupp Lake. Fairly chilly night and very low moth numbers but also had a Dotted Chestnut and what might well be the earliest Bright-line Brown-eye I've ever caught. Trap left overnight in BBOWT's Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre (SCEEC) had 4 Powdered Quaker, Herald and a Pale Pinion amongst a small number of the usual suspects. Garden still quiet though was nice to find a Buttoned Snout in the outhouse and a Twenty-plume Moth was new for year. Marc Botham, Didcot
