A few moths at Low scrubs ---

I ran my 15 watt actinic in Low scrubs in the Chilterns last night for a couple of hours and got Twin-spotted quaker (1), Common quaker (17), Small quaker (6), Hebrew character (6), Clouded drab (4), Yellow horned (2), Satellite (1), Chestnut (1), Early grey (1), The Engrailed (4), Brindled pug (6), Water carpet (2), and Diurnea fagella (6). Not too bad as it was mainly clear, and the first time i've had the time and some reasonable weather to get out to the woods this spring! The two Water carpets were fresh specimens, and i've added a picture. Dave Maunder.
