A Blog for moth recorders in Bucks, Berks and Oxon
Hello Barnaby, yes indeed, better photos would be a great help! If the images are of a reasonable enough resolution, even just cropping away some of the background would be of benefit. Anyway, I'll have a go at these: the first two are a Cnephasia sp and Coleophora sp which really need dissection to get to species; then I think you have Scoparia ambigualis, Celypha lacunana twice, Eudonia (Dipleurina) lacustrata and Eudonia mercurella.
Dave - really appreciated, and I tried the picasa web link which was easy, except I needed to crop the photos in a different way.Thank you for the identifications too. Barnaby
