Dark Sword-grass, and a flamboyant caterpillar

Only 8 moths in last night's actinic garden trap (almost outnumbered by caddis flies). However, one of the moths was a garden first - a Dark Sword-grass.

While doing a little bit of tidying up in the garden yesterday, I came across this wonderful character - a Pale Tussock larva.
